Review by hotel critic
The establishment manages a respectable balance between classic charm and modern conveniences, a nod to the thoughtful design by renowned interior designer Ann Boyd. The spacious room offered a comfortable retreat, though the air conditioning was a welcome surprise during my stay. The hotel features a terrace that provides a pleasant view of the Thames-a perfect spot for reflection after a day of immersing oneself in culture. Despite some challenges with staff responsiveness and minor cleanliness concerns, I found the breakfast offerings satisfactory, although I would have preferred a toast option. With free Wi-Fi throughout, it's ideally suited for travelers needing connectivity. The hotel's strategic location also made it easy to navigate the nearby areas, making it a practical choice for those visiting London. While the experience was mixed, the hotel provided an adequate base for my explorations. I would consider returning if the occasion arose.
